Father's Day - win Phoenix tickets

'Dob-a-Daddy' Father's Day competition - closed

Dads – email us a tale of your fathering heroics, a touching moment, or just something really silly you’ve done or said as a dad or dad-to-be.  (Mums – you’re welcome to email on behalf of your partners also).

The prize: A double-pass to the Phoenix vs Sydney FC (2 x silver adult tickets) Saturday 11 September. The funniest/coolest/most touching story will be voted on by WNPC Committee members.

Every entry received will also go in the draw to win a signed copy of 'Being a Great Dad for Dummies', by kiwi dads Stefan, Scott and Eric. 

Email us your entry to promo@wnpc.org.nz by Friday 3 September.

Conditions: WNPC members only.  Committee members can enter and are eligible to win the book but cannot vote for their entry to win the Phoenix tickets.  Entries to be received to promo@wnpc.org.nz by Friday 3 September.  No more than 300 words per story.  Entries will be included in a WNPC email and put on the WNPC website anonymously.  The winner will be named and acclaimed/shamed in an email and on the WNPC website.

Dob-a-Daddy winner - Congratulations Simon!

Here's the winning entry in our Father's Day competition:

"My daughter has recently switched to the 'Stage 3' formula so we have a new-look formula tin sitting on the kitchen bench. The old formula tin clearly labelled 'Stage 2' is used as our compost bucket which Simon regularly empties  into the compost.  Last week, Simon came back sheepishly from emptying the compost only to let me know he had picked up the wrong tin and emptied the entire contents into the compost!!!  I’m expecting a lot of nourishment out of the next batch of compost!!"
