Drop in coffee group
FREE for members; $2 towards masseur for non-members. Jpin us from 10 am at 1841 in Johnsonville for drinks and cake. Meet other mothers and have a lovely massage whilst the children play! Next Session Friday 25 May 2012 (This Friday).
Parents centre week
June 11-17 is Parents Centre Week and WNPC are celebrating our 60th Anniversary in style! There are lots of activities and events that week including:
Monday 11 June: AGM and wine and cheese evening at Johnsonville Community Centre from 7.30 pm. Come and join us for our AGM to hear what the centre has been up to and voice your opinion about what we should be doing. Its a great time to volunteer for the committee and get to know other members.
Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 June: Cupcake decorating from 7.30 pm at Johnsonville Community Centre. $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
Friday 15 June: Free fairy Trina performance at Johnsonvile Community Centre.
Saturday 16 June: High Tea at Logan Brown. $25 for members, $30 for non members (usually $40). there will be a stunning raffle including the change to win a diamond pendant from Pascoes valued at $299!

NZ Film looking for 6-18 month old baby boy
We are interested in casting a 6-18 month old baby boy to be in the film. We're a professional crew and we're working with the support of a number of investment partners including the NZ Film Commission. We adhere to strict industry guidelines when working with children (eg children have a parent or guardian with them at all times). The role we are casting is pretty undemanding-the baby is in a scene on the picton ferry with actors in the roles of his dad and a mate on the deck of the ship, and also sitting in a car seat in a car.
We are looking for a NZ european/pakeha baby boy with dark brown or black hair between the ages of 6-18 months. The baby would be required for two days on Weds 23rd and Thurs 24th May. The role is a paid role and we also offer a small fee for the parent/guardian who attends the shoot with the baby. The baby is featured so would be seen in the film ( a fun opportunity for parents to see their baby on the big screen in a NZ film!)
